How will the elections go?

Postby BillB » Sun Nov 02, 2014 1:52 pm

I don't know yet.
I'm waiting for Dick Morris to make a prediction. Whatever he says- the opposite will happen.
I check his blog everyday.

The big storms predicted might cause the undedicated voters to stay home in north Texas. That means good news for the Republicans.
Closing Time. Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.

If the Dims lose as bad as predicted, you can be sure there will be some imaginative excuses.
I feel like I'm parked diagonally in a parallel universe.

I not sure it will make a big difference which side wins. Until some fiscally responsible folks get in power, it will be the same old deficit spending and resulting tax increases. Re-pubs just justify overspending in a different way from the Dems (IMHO).

Having said that, I think it will be closer than is being predicted. Repubs will take senate, but just barely.
Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore.

I also have a feeling it will be very close in the Senate. Everything depends on how effective the Democrats are in getting their base out.
