Blind hogs and acorns

For the last 10 days or so I have not been able to find one of my favorite pipes. I bought it about 20 years ago.
Yesterday I went to one of the deer blinds that I had not been to in a while. My pipe was sitting there on one of the
crossmembers. Old men and CRS can be a problem.

What important things have you lost and then found?

I haven't been able to find my keyring with my office and house keys on it for over 2 weeks. Husband just called me at lunch to tell me he found them buried in the couch cushions. I never even thought to look there.

I finally got a little bowl, that is on a table near the entry and all keys go there immediately! Stopped the eternal key search!

I have a wooden bowl on the kitchen counter. At the end of the day I empty my pockets into that bowl.

I think I must have passed out on the couch with my keys in my pocket.
