Whoever the Torries are. Anyway, British politics are very strange. Here is John Cleese explaining the British elections. This is before they were held and the Torries, that's David Cameron's crowd, won.

The Torries (Conservatives) are sort of Britain's equivalent of our Republican Party.

The Labour Party (liberals)is their equivalent to our Democrat Party.

It's not a perfect analogy/comparison..but, close.
