Spurs Dismantle Heat In Game 4
ESPN.com
MIAMI -- Here they are again, back on the brink of a championship.
It slipped away from the San Antonio Spurs last year, but it would take something special -- historic, actually -- to stop them now.
The Miami Heat would have to make the biggest comeback in NBA Finals history.
"They're the two-time champs, they're a great team and there is still one more game," Spurs guard Tony Parker said. "We have to win one more game."
Kawhi Leonard had 20 points and 14 rebounds, and the Spurs routed the Heat again, winning 107-86 on Thursday night to open a commanding 3-1 series lead.
The Spurs can win their fifth NBA championship with a victory at home in Game 5 on Sunday and avenge their seven-game loss to Miami last year. They have three chances, and the way they're dominating the Heat, they might need just one.

I am a Mavericks fan, but I root for anybody that plays the Heat.
I do like the team ball that San Antonio plays; the passing; the assists; the defense. Popovich coaches his superstars the same way he coaches his rookies; and it works.

I am not a Spurs fan, but anything that will get that creepy Chris Andersen off my TV makes me happy.

He actually played at Blinn College in Brenham for a year; back when he was near normal...

He has an interesting backstory, but he still creeps me out.

Re: Spurs one game away from NBA championship
I think the Spurs have found a way to beat the game. You know my presumption that all NBA game officials are schooled in "fixing" outcomes for entertainment purposes. They don't actually choose one team over another to win but they make close games more exciting by subtly favoring the trailing team. Naturally, on occasion this results in the lesser team winning. Well, San Antonio is making the officials' little box-office intrigue impossible by getting out to huge leads and holding them right up to the final gun.
