Baseball has the absolute worst officials in sports. The guys behind the plate that calls balls and strikes are the worst. If they are right 25% of the time they have had a good day. That idiot behind the plate at tonight's Rangers game is just making a fool of himself with his wrong calls.

Not disagreeing with you that umps make mistakes. The problem is it is a subjective call. If the guy looking at the plate is crouched a little lower, or a little more left or right, the ball may look different.

When a human enters the equation the outcome will differ.

The above is why I am not a sports fan.

Even in the competition of BBQ it boils down to a subjective call. Was that rib how I liked it?

I'd rather have it like it is rather than "perfect" electronic ball-and-strike calling.
