You don't loose any information except what you were working on at the time that was not saved. Only stuff you might have added or changed between now and your restore point.

planosteve wrote:After I restored it last night, it downloaded 17 updates, 6 of them failed. This morning it downloaded 7 more. I set up a new restore point so if I have to do it again I won't have to download them all again.
