We are told that the Israel needs to destroy tunnels in Gaza because they are used to attack Israel. Can anybody recall any attack on Israel by Hamas before the current attack on Gaza that involved using tunnels?

I don't know where you've been, but most of us have seen Hamas showing the tunnels to a wedding party in Garza! They filmed it!
And I guess you missed seeing the telephone and electrical systems that were installed in those tunnels. The groom was so busy showing his bride and another woman, (but I don't know how they saw much through those veils, let along used the ladder to go down and back up) I'm sorry you missed it.

I'm not for or against anybody. I'm just naturally skeptical of any govt. And I am certain that this war was deliberately begun on by Israel blaming Hamas for killing the 3 teenagers. But, there was no evidence and even the Israelis have stated that there was no evidence of Hamas involvement. The first military action was an airstrike on Gaza by the Israeli air force. Rockets were fired after that attack, presumably in response.
Are these facts correct?

Complete hogwash that even HAMAS doesn't try to fabricate.

It started..as usual..with the constant, daily bombardment of rockets fired by Hamas into Israel.and the Israelis getting to the point..(way too late in my opinion)..that they will take no more.

All the wars, all the attacks, all the battles of any kind that have been fought in our lifetime in this region..have always been started by Muslims.

So glad to see your skeptical of any government. You are aware that Hamas is the government, right?

Hamas sends rockets into Israel and Israel responds in kind, Israel does not indiscriminately attack Hamas. When there is a cease fire Israel stops, and Hamas breaks the cease fire.

Yet despite evidence from foreign news sources that Hamas is the aggressor and reports that show Hamas using human shields, you choose to ignore that.Thousand of Hamas rockets into Israel and the charter of Hamas calling for the Israel to be destroyed by the hamas government.

OK I play the semantics game, you did not come right out and say that Mossad snuck into Gaza and fired the rockets from residential locations, but you did suggest it.To me that is saying that Israel is the bad guy and Hamas is just a bunch of good ole boys being out smarted by Mossad.

For every report that shows Hamas causing this mess you have a way of suggesting that Israel is the cause.

When you choose to find every possible scenario to point a finger at Israel, that, in my opinion is a defense of Hamas.

Bottom line. Bibi claimed that Hamas killed 3 teenagers and never produced a shread of evidence.
Then he proceeded to destroy 10,000 buildings in Gaza blaming Hamas for fireing rockets that killed
nobody.And the US taxpayer will get the bill for all of it. Unbelivable!
