Music Question concerning Whitey Shafer

Postby LibraryLady » Thu Aug 21, 2014 1:26 pm

My husband has a line or two of a song Whitey did in the 70s......I am hoping someone can supply the title as he wants to know what all the lyrics are/were.

The life of a king is a hobo's dream........That's all he remembers.

Hope one of you can help him.........

Thanks BoB,
I found lists like that, but didn't want to look up the lyrics for all those songs to find it. Of course, some titles are immediately eliminated as possibilities, but I guessed wrong on about 5 and gave up. It was suggested to contact him via FB and that is what I have tried. I'll have to see if he ever answers.
