I've been to a few Bucees. Nice restrooms, cheap gas, good food, lots of drink options and plenty to look around at if you have time.

Having put in a few miles on the road, Buckees is a welcome sight. You know the products will be good, fresh and a bit overpriced, that outweighs the hassle of making two stops one for food and one for gas.
I am not a fan of their hot sandwiches, the eggs burritos are ok, I prefer the cold cut sandwiches. The tea is good.
Of course the restrooms are super clean and huge.

They had yummy pecan log rolls. Still does if you can find one. The only one I know that is still around is outside of Ardmore, OK. It's a dump.

All but one of them are in Texas. They blow away any other truck stop I've ever seen.

Don't confuse them with a truck stop. Trucks are not allowed at Buccees.
ETA: And I've seen the question asked of a Buccees manager. Trucks are not allowed because they don't want lot lizards hanging around.

My only complaint is that there are no tables to sit outside and eat the food you just bought even though there is plenty of parking. If I just got out of my car, I might not want to get back in there right away again to eat.
Re: All about Buc-ees
A Buc-ee's is going to be built about 8 minutes me. I can't wait, I don't normally pass one on the roads I travel so I'll be able to go whenever I want.

Where will that be Jami?
Re: All about Buc-ees
The Buccee's across from TMS is a daily stop for me when I'm staying in the campground over there. I go every morning to get breakfast, and to restock the gas for my generator and our beer supply.

A new Buccee's is under construction in Royse City. I believe they are taking their time getting it completed, so it will be opening about the same time the construction on the new overpasses is completed.

So now people won't have to wait until they get to Madisonville to pee.
