Just about done with DISH, especially since one of their high-ranking officials said in an interview that they really didn't need the Fox Regional Sports Networks. I'm exploring various streaming TV services now. It will cost me an extra 50 bucks per month to up my internet service from 100 mbps to 1 gbps.

Can you get FS1? The Rangers are on FS1 tonight.

Announcers were terrible. Angels homers. If Trout is the best player in baseball in the first inning you don't have to remind us again every time he is on camera.

Minor was brilliant and then the seventh inning happened.

Rangers shut out Yankees 7-0. It's amazing that the Yankees had not been shut out for 220 games.

I wish I could have been there to see Wash make an appearance for Michael Young on Saturday.

Shawn Kelley has declared that he will pitch for the Rangers again in 2020, or he will retire. I see no reason for the Rangers to not have him back.

With Leclerc, Kelley, and Clase, the Rangers have the foundation for a very nice bullpen in 2020.

What a crazy game Wednesday night. 7-7 after two innings, which took an hour and a half. Devil Rays used 8 pitchers - Rangers used 7. Three Devil Ray base runners were either picked off or run down.

Leclerc started the bottom of the ninth shaky and it looked like he was going to do one his ninth inning specials. But he pulled it together and ended the game on one of the nastiest breaking pitches you will ever see.

I stand corrected. I probably lost count after they threw out the guy at first three times.

The Rangers got a pickoff by their catcher and a pickoff by their pitcher in the same inning. I wonder how many times before that has happened...

Former Ranger catcher Rod Barajas has been named interim manager of the San Diego Padres in the wake of Andy Green's firing. Barajas had been serving as Green's bench coach.

Glad to see the Ranger bats wake up Sunday afternoon. They need to give their fans something to cheer for in this last home stand.

Jeff Wilson of the Star Telegram is reporting that Gallo is likely moving to right field next season...

It appears that the corner outfielders will be Gallo and Calhoun, and the Rangers don't have Mazara in their plans.

The Rangers won 11 more games in 2019 than they did in 2018. I'm optimistic about 2020.

I have seen some comments that the accuser is something of a loose cannon.

The Rangers have made a couple of free agent acquisitions:

...3 years and $30 million for pitcher Kyle Gibson. Gibson won 13 games for the twins in 2019.

...Minor league contract for infielder Rob Refsnyder. He'll go to spring training with a chance to make the team.

There are reports that the Rangers have interest in Yankees' third baseman Miguel Andujar, the 2018 AL rookie of the year. Andujar missed most of the 2019 season because of a shoulder injury. Gio Urshela played third for the Yankees most of the season, and they now view Andujar as trade bait.

The Rangers have made third base a priority this off-season.
