The ones from outer space.
I'm not really a believer or denier. I saw something in the sky, 40 some years ago, that appeared odd. Three "lights" in a triangular pattern that moved in an odd manner, but it could be just from the massive amount of mind altering medication.
That being said, my lovely wife watches all of the alien shows on TV and sometimes I will join her.
What stands out to me is the presenters of these programs, when focusing on ancient visitors from planet XFERWS, always point to ruins of buildings and their massive size and extreme precision of the cuts of stone that fit together perfectly. They always interject that the precision of the cuts couldn't have been done with the tools available at the time they were built, and they were too big to move by mortal man, so that proves we had visitors from beyond the sky.
Really? If the space dudes cut those rocks using dilithuim crystals and space juice, why aren't the cuts laser straight and the rocks all of uniform size? Looking at ancient stone work, and it's precision fit is amazing, but there are a lot of really wonkee cuts and different sizes of rocks.
I'll bet the cat from XFERWS made all those cuts wonkee just to throw us off their trail.

Re: Aliens
I've always wondered why aliens would waste their time coming here.
Why not send unmanned explorations?
Why not send unmanned explorations?

I figure we make one heck of a prime time comedy for some advanced civilization...

True, but if they had the technology to come here, they would have the technology to watch us from 1,000,000 miles away.

I thought UFO's, like apparitions at seances, had become a thing of the past with the pervasiveness of video recording and advances in analysis of photographs.
Re: Aliens
Exploring Earth is probably a whole lot like exploring Abilene.

Doubt anything has visited this rock via any type of machine. Stuff has gotten here and will continue via asteroids which poise a bigger threat than any spaceship from blozqerq.
Also doubt we're the only intelligent life bouncing around this big old vacuum we share.

It's ok if you disagree with me.

About the precision cutting of stones & how the ancients could have done it. I heard someone mention about the pyramids a that they were cast like concrete in place using a since forgotten process. They used the previously cast stones as forms to make the next ones. I think the Romans used concrete that way & then it was forgotten for several hundred years.
A bad peace inevitably leads to a worse war.

They've proven the stones were poured.
They have found straw in some of them.
