What did you do today?

Got up at 5, yes I slept in, ran across town to load some software. Took a quick run down to Jacksonville to work on a machine. Got home about 4. Worked the phones all day. Last phone call just ended at 6:45.

Started supper(Donna's out of town) so I'll have some japaleno spam and mashed taters.

After supper I need to re-write a little code.

Then I think I'll be done.

Me: Basically a slacker today.
Phone calls from 3 friends used up the morning....Then I finished a book that will need to be returned to library. (It is a good one. Goldfinch by Tartt)
Some paperwork and then it was 6 PM. Finished 1 blanket while watching "the Wheel"

Tried to get an insurance company to respond to emails. What gives, they don't want my business?

I got home to my wife, kids & grandkiddies after 3 weeks on the road.

Worked, went for a walk after work, made dinner after the walk, did two loads of laundry after dinner, went to bed, tossed and turned.

Like everyday...fed chickens, cows, dogs, sawed more lumber, varnished some Wainscot in the bedroom and went to work all day!
