Incredible story of plane crash survivor children in Colombian jungle

There was a false report a few days after the crash that these children had been found alive. Now, six weeks afterwards, it is apparently confirmed that they have just been found after surviving alone all that time.

Four Colombian children who were missing for six weeks alone in the Amazon jungle after a plane crash have been found alive – and malnourished but otherwise healthy.

The siblings, Lesly, 13, Soleiny, nine, Tien Noriel, four, and baby Cristin who had his first birthday while lost in the jungle, had been travelling in a light aircraft on May 1 when it crashed.

The accident killed everyone else on board, the children's mother Magdalena Mucutui Valencia, the pilot and an indigenous leader.

That was the soccer team whose plane crashed in the Andes. These children had found at least some of the food packets that were dropped for them and knew the search was continuing.

If you mean the Chilean soccer players..that was in the early 70s.
