Here at the Fort we're sweating it out at 81 degrees at noon! But, it could get up to 90 degrees later this afternoon!

1980 was the hottest I remember. 40 straight days over 100 and no rain. Some days were 110 - 119 in real temperature. So far, this is nothing compared to that.

I remember too. I landed in Dallas coming from Germany in Jun 80! My car wouldn't arrive for another month. We needed a vehicle to start house hunting. A friend loaned us a black VW beatle. With no A/C! That's what we drove the rest of the summer.
