Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is the most disliked Republican candidate in the GOP primary field, this week’s Morning Consult survey found.

How'd that work out for Christie in 2016?

I don't remember. How did it?

He begged President Trump to give him a big shot position, and President Trump told him to go pound sand. That's why this SOB is on such a crusade against President Trump now.

Actually, Christie supported 45 until he lost the election to Biden.
"Following the election, Christie refused to support Trump's claims of a stolen election. On election night, Christie spoke with one of Trump's sons and later texted Eric Trump asking for proof of election fraud. When they could not provide any evidence, Christie said he would thus not support their claims. During the January 6 Capitol attack, Christie phoned Trump to tell the president to call for an end to the violence. Trump did not pick up. Following the attack, Christie blamed Trump for January 6 and voiced support for Trump's impeachment"

Well, your “person of principle” has completely changed his tune.
Now that he knows how hated he is, he is calling on all the Republican candidates to stop talking about Trump, and to focus their efforts on Joe Dementia.
“Plan A” failed miserably.

An indictment is not a conviction, and in this case, an indictment is complete bullshit.
To quote Sol Wachtler, "You can indict a ham sandwich."
I don't know who Sol Wachtler is but he must be pretty stupid.
It’s not an exaggeration to say that everyone hates 2024 presidential candidate Chris Christie.
An August poll from Fox News found that Christie is viewed rather unfavorably by every political, racial, and economic demographic. Overall, 56 percent, a majority of American voters, express disdain towards Christie. Only 22 percent of 1,002 people polled said they held “favorable” opinions of the former New Jersey governor.
Christie isn’t just disliked by 57 percent of Republicans, the people he expects to potentially elect him in 2024, but he also earned the ire of 60 percent of Democrats. Even a good portion of independents, 46 percent, say they have a “somewhat” or “strongly unfavorable” opinion of Christie.

Actually, he headed up Trump's transition team and was offered several positions in his administration which he turned down.Mark wrote:planosteve wrote:...He...was in his administration....
Oh, really? In what capacity?

Nice try. He got fired less than one week after the 2016 election. He was never in the administration. He wanted to be AG, but President Trump is not an idiot.
