Driving is still much more dangerous than flying. However, the hassle at the airport & putting up with other passengers in the plane, flying is just not the adventure it used to be.

Depends where you are driving. I've lived in a lot of places including Toyko, Japan. But Fort Collins is the worst I've ever seen. You don't want to be on the street after 4 pm. In the summer it's all the tourists. In winter it's the college kids.
