Disclaimer:

I have a small investment account that is 100% AI stocks, and it is doing well.

The problem is how AI is programmed.

Coding for AI is based on the programmers bias.

What would a muslim AI program look like on womens or gay rights?

How could a Chinese program view human rights fairly?

Elons Grok is admittedly conservative.

You just can not program out bias.

Why does it matter?

Because news organization's are using AI to write stories

Some are using AI to create policy.

Facial recognition software wrongly identified a man as perp in a Houston robbery. He was thrown in Harris County jail to be sexually assaulted before it was proven he was in California at the time. He's suing everybody in sight.

ANYTHING that gets spit out of a computer will ALWAYS contain the biases of whoever programmed that computer.

"Artificial intelligence" is an oxymoron. Computers don't reason like humans, and they never will. Computers only do what they've been programmed to do.
