It wasn't supposed to be this way. Women were supposed to flock to the "political folk hero" who filibustered a bill outlawing late term abortions in June of 2013. The MSM certainly did its part to prop up the pro-abortion crusader - fawning over her pink tennis shoes and assigning her "political rock-star" status.

But in the latest sign that the #RepublicanWarOnWomen nonsense has finally, officially expired, a new NYT/CBS News poll has TX Attorney General Greg Abbott beating Wendy Davis by 12 points among women: 49% - 37%. Among men it's Abbott 57% - Davis 33%.

Her own campaign workers cannot wait for this election to be over so they can collect their last paycheck and move on. Thankfully Windy will be out of office as she resigned her Senate seat to run for governor.

..and since it sounds like you're defining yourself as one of the smart people..I'm sure you're aware that, the state that gave the country Ronald Reagan was overwhelmingly white back then.

..and I'm sure you know that white people STILL vote overwhelmingly Republican in California..and that what has changed is that we have been inundated with minorities..especially Latinos..all of whom vote overwhelmingly Democrat.

Re: her abortions. Why is she, IMO, bragging that the ectopic pregnancy was an abortion???? I suppose technically it is but I wouldn't refer to it as an abortion...

I don't know her situation, but there are definitely some feminist types that view abortion like a holy sacrament.
