@BrendanCarrFCC
In 2021, the Biden Administration got $42.45 billion from Congress to deploy high-speed Internet to millions of Americans.
Years later, it has not connected even 1 person with those funds. In fact, it now says that no construction projects will even start until 2025 at earliest.

It's a joke son,I say a joke
Re: How about that high speed internet Biden promised
How much of that $42.45B has already been spent?
I feel like I'm parked diagonally in a parallel universe.
Re: How about that high speed internet Biden promised
I guess we'll have to re-elect Biden to get it.

Sounds like this is one of these “more to the story” posts.

Not saying the funding wasn’t approved.
But where’s the info that “not even 1” person has been connected?
Just did a little more research. According to the Texas Comptroller website it’s a 5 year plan. It’s not that unusual that not much would happen in the 1st year.

Combine this with the multi-billion dollar 7 out of 500,000 electric car charging stations debacle, and you have an administration that talks big and can't do squat. Utter incompetence. Really, the plan is to sit on their hands for a few years? Did these morons actually have a plan, or did they just draw one up in the dirt after the money was approved?

Texas Republican Glen Hegar is the Texas Comptroller. Why don't you ask him instead of blaming Biden?
