It's hard to know anymore what's real and what's photoshopped, but I've seen something claiming the shooter was a registered Republican. I tend to believe it's true, because it also says he donated to Act Blue. If true, I suspect that he voted in the GOP primary as a plant (to vote against Trump or some other strong candidate).
