I believe this is a reach that exceeds their grasp. They should not give Kamala the advantage of incumbency, no matter how short. Be very careful of what you wish for.

A BRIDGE TOO FAR FOR THE REPUBLICANS?
A BRIDGE TOO FAR FOR THE REPUBLICANS?
I feel like I'm parked diagonally in a parallel universe.
Re: A BRIDGE TOO FAR FOR THE REPUBLICANS?
I do not agree.
A few Dems have endorsed Laffin’ Kamalama..the but the all important Obummer is not doing so.
He is asking for a full on nominating process..a fight that would turn into a fight for the ages if she is already in the Oval Office.

Harris wouldn’t be my first choice to be on the ticket, but if she is, I’ll vote for her and Obama will endorse her.
Depending on who her choice of running mates will be, she stands a very good chance.
Most independent women don’t like Vance’s stance on abortion, or the 2025 agenda that women should be staying home to be a housewife.
Contrary to popular belief it’s not the extreme on either side that decides Presidential elections. It’s the BIG number that comprises the middle.

She will if she’s the nominee.

Who would’ve thought that Nikki Haley would be sucking up to Trump like she is now?
Re: A BRIDGE TOO FAR FOR THE REPUBLICANS?
IF Kamala gets the nomination, Obama will endorse her. Who else do the Dims have that can challenge her?

In an open Convention, we’ll find out quickly.

Re: A BRIDGE TOO FAR FOR THE REPUBLICANS?
This is going to be a much closer election than almost anyone seems to think at the moment, and win or lose this will be the last presidential race in which the Republican Party is a major force.
I predicted here in 2016 that in that year and 2020 the GOP would be competitive, but in 2024 only if the Democrats spectacularly misplayed their hand, and that its prospects beyond that were hopeless at the national level with the changing demographics of this country.
It looked for a while as if the Democrats would actually play along but with today's announcement it looks like they will be able to get something other than a zomby heading the ticket, which is the only thing that would have caused any great mass of defecting voters.
Once they have control of both houses you can expect to see DC and Puerto Rico admitted to statehood, assuring permanent control of the Senate and Supreme Court, and a blanket naturalization of all aliens within the country.
