Trump has a ceiling of support that is below 50%. So, he has no chance to win if he is the nominee. Will they nominate him? I don't think so. Why would they?

What is clear now is that forcing Biden out of the race, the Democrats have improved their chances of keeping the presidency by quite a bit. 45 is now the underdog.

It's been just a short time since Harris entered the race. So, what do we see so far? Well, as 11 Aug, she is leading Trump nationally 48% to 47%. She is leading 50% to 48% in Wisconsin and 49 to 47% in Michigan. Pennsylvania is tied 48% each.
When Biden left after a horrible debate performance, Trump was leading him by 3 points. Now Trump is trailing Harris by 1 point. So, the Democrats are now 4 points ahead of their position under Biden. Looks like it was a good move for them. :P

The RCP electoral map is unchanged.

With no toss up states..ie..if nothing change in the way states are leaning..Trump wins 287 to 258.

Not including toss up states..Trump leads 219 to 208.
