Shouldn't "The Boss" drive down to the Stop & Go for a six pack, and write an albums worth of songs about it? Instead of alienating what is left of his fans ?

I'm a longtime picker and major fan of Gordon Lightfoot and John Prine. Lightfoot was not political. John Prine was maybe just a bit.
Wasn't ever a Springstein fan. I don't know why anyone would want to pollute their music with politics. Joan Baez was pretty political, but her music wasn't. And then there's Bobby D. He also kept politics mostly out of his music. We're the same age .
