It took maybe 20 minutes. Everyone was well behaved. NO ONE seemed enthusiastic about the choices. It was like, "Well, let's get this thing over with." You couldn't vote a straight party ticket. My machine showed that over 7,000 had voted so far. I assume it was just for that particular machine, & since early voting started. There were also 5 pregnant women in line, not together. Not sure that has any relevance, just an observation.
Too bad I'm still afflicted with the candidates' TV commercials & mailers.

We voted Sunday after lunch...
We walked right up to the DL scanning station, got our access codes immediately, had our pick of any of the voting booths in the room, and had no competition for the ballot scanning station.
We were in and out in less than five minutes.
We took the advice given by GOP leaders telling us that voting early allows them to focus campaign dollars on those that haven't voted yet. I've noticed in the couple of days since we voted, the phone calls from random numbers that I don't answer have stopped.

My ballot came in the mail about 10 days ago and I tossed on the desk. It's still lying there. I don't know whether I will fill it in and send it back or not knowing it will not make one damn iota of difference whether I do or not.
