I am surprised this has not gotten more attention from the media. Of all the Texas counties that touch the Rio Grande all but two--Presidio and El Paso--voted for Trump. This includes Starr County (Rio Grande City), which is more than 97% Hispanic and probably nearly all the exceptions are federal employees. Trump carried it by 57-41. Webb County (95% Hispanic) had not gone Republican since 1912 and I doubt that any of the other lower Rio Grande Valley counties had either. These are some of the most heavily Hispanic counties in the country, and the average Republican margin is higher than for the state as a whole. I wonder how these figures compare with those of Mexican-American communities at a safe distance from the border.

And a substantial number of those are Chinese that have been sent here to destroy us in a variety of ways..and Muslims that don’t need a mission..there’s is inherent.

52% of men age 18-44 voted for Trump. I'm not sure yet how that breaks down by race/ethnicity, but Trump got more votes in nearly every demographic. Harris was a weak candidate, and that's why she lost.

eta: I found this very useful interactive tool that breaks down demographics six ways to Sunday. So far, the only demographic group that I can find that voted in greater numbers for Harris is women with graduate degrees, with a 2% increase from 2020.

However, 55% of Hispanics aged 18-30 voted for Trump. Only 43% of Hispanic men over 60 voted for Trump.

I went through a period of my life voting Republican. But as I matured I realized I didn’t want to be a part of what the party had become.
