Big Snow in Colorado

But it's mostly from Denver and south. Nothing up here at the Fort.
A police officer was killed yesterday in Golden when he was hit by a car out directing traffic. His partner, a female officer, was injured.

Most schools in Denver and south are closed today with 6-14in of heavy "wet cement" snow. None here. 2-6" expected.

Well, contrary to what we were told, it has been snowing on the fort like a SOB for about 3 hr. now. And it's sticking!

Cool! I'd love to go skiing again. It's been ages since the last time. I learned at Crested Butte back in the '60s, went back there several times later, Copper Mountain & A Basin in the '90s & '00s.
