Listening to the tower audio there was no radio transmission from the aircraft after they were airborne. Something went bad really quickly.

That particular aircraft XA-UCI 55-032 was built in 1982. Going on 43 years old seems pretty long in the tooth for that type of plane. Who knows what kind of maintenance & upgrades, if any, it received over the years. As for your crack about foreign pilots, that was pretty stupid.
