Army Recruiting is Up

I find this somewhat surprising. Is it all due to Trump's re-election and pledge to remove DEI initiatives from the military? Maybe young adults are not finding jobs that appeal to them in the civilian sector. I don't know. I just hope this kind of momentum can be maintained.


The U.S. Army announced its record-breaking recruitment numbers, marking its most productive December in over a decade, with some crediting President Donald Trump for the boost.

This marks a significant turnaround for the branch, which has faced challenges in recent years in recruiting enough young people and has implemented major changes to its recruitment programs.

Officials now say December 2024 was their best December in 15 years, with nearly 350 soldiers enlisted every day that month. Army recruiters shared on X, “Our recruiters have one of the toughest jobs – inspiring the next generation of #Soldiers to serve. Congratulations and keep up the great work!”

China does not want a war with us..any more than we want one with them. And with Trump as President, we won’t have any new wars..he will fight economically, which is usually a much better plan.

When the corpse was pretending to be President, China could and did make many aggressive moves around the world.

I’ve been to both of those countries many times.

And I travelled around East Germany before reunification, and I’ve seen those same cities after becoming part of “Germany.”

OK, military recruiting goes up when the economy goes down. People need to eat. That's about as relevant as it gets.
