The Super Bowl was anti-climactic, and a bore. But it served to remind me that it's been almost three decades since the 'Boys have earned a trip to the big game. The high hopes and dismal results remind me of another franchise: The New York Jets.
I think I'll start referring to our team as The Cowjets.
Cowboys SB futility
Re: Cowboys SB futility
I saw a stat posted somewhere the other day: Every team in the NFC has appeared in the NFC championship game at least once since 2009, except for one...
That one is the Dallas Cowboys, and their last appearance in the NFC championship game was at the end of the 1995 season.
The Dallas Cowboys are easily the worst franchise in the NFC.
One final question: If the GM of the Cowboys, Jerry Jones, was on the open market, how many NFL teams would even give him an interview for a job as GM?
