How much is gas in your neck of the woods.

Thought it might be interesting to start keeping track here over time. The cheapest gas by my house is a QT for 2.25 gallon.

It's a two edged sword and it's going to get worse. Oil dropped again. $61.22. Dow down 268 today. My mutual funds lost over $3,000 today.

So that's why those big signs are there.

It used to matter to me the cost per gallon. No more, when I realized that even a dime cheaper per gallon, for my truck, a fill up was 3 bucks less. It's not worth the time to even go a couple of blocks out of the way.

For those of us that live and work in the every day world, lower fuel prices are the very best thing that could happen. I universally drives down the cost of living.

I have a commuting college student so I would much rather have lower gas prices than a few extra bucks in my retirement fund.

High gas prices are a cruel tax on those of us the live in rural areas.

As the energy industry and the investment banking industry goes in the tank, it's going to cost you a whole lot more that what you save in the gas tank.

Nice to get almost half a tank of gas for $16. I remember when $20 would fill up my tank...
