The unconstitutional love of our animals.
The unconstitutional love of our animals.
I have not been home for a couple of days. (Mom is in the hospital)
Anyway, got here an hour so ago and was met at the door by the yorkies and the Dane. They danced and twisted around wagging their tails like crazy. I am now in my chair with one of the yorkies on each side and the Dane laying on the floor with her head on my foot.
Not sure I deserve the love, but it feels real good.
I bet you get the same thing from your animals.

Unconstitutional or unconditional? If your love is being expressed in a way that violates their rights we don't want to hear about it.

Our cats won't even come to see who walked into the house after we've been gone for a week.
Stewy the magic rooster is another story. He comes to see us anytime we're outside.
He even knows the sound of my truck, yesterday I drove into the backyard, got out of the truck and caught a glimpse of a blur of chicken. Stewy was in the front yard and came at a dead run to the back where I was.

My Siamese cat will usually get up and come see me unless he is busy taking a nap. If I call him, he will come see me.
I miss the little dog we had who was so precious the way she got excited when anyone came home. However, she was obsessed with escaping out the door and it finally went bad this weekend. I never want to go through that again.

I'd love to see a picture of Stewy sometime.

Damn! This kindle sometimes changes what you type. Guess I need to slow down and use the preview bottom.

Gosh he is so cute. I thought all roosters were mean spirited creatures.

Had to take herd bull to town tonight, old, arthritis making it hard for him to get around, afraid he might not make it through the winter. Weighs a ton, put a halter on him and loaded him up. Gonna be tough to walk by his empty paddock.

Sorry Cowman. I miss my little dog too.

I'm guessing..if you're livestock.."going to town" is NOT good news!
If you’re “woke”..you’re a loser.

About 12-14 years ago my wife really bonded with a young bull during the weaning process. Any time he saw her truck along the road or in the pasture he came up for attention. She cried like a baby when his time came.

Once upon a time, before the cattle prices got so high, you could dig a grave and let one spend his or her last days with as much comfort as possible. Several of the ranches had tombstones for the herd sires, quite the honor for an old sire. Today he brought more than what I gave for him 10 years ago. Today I wished cow prices were not so great. Barn wasn't the same with him not bellowing for a feed bucket.
