I am not complaining just asking.

Is it because we are so few and know each other so well ?

Is it because most of us are older ?

First, there are fewer of us here to "dust up". Second, I can think of one in particular who isn't here to annoy me. That's a bonus to stay here...

It was always the same people that stated the "dust ups."

The people here that disagree..do so by replying with the reasons why we think the other person is wrong.

The people that start trouble endlessly, are those that refuse to offer a defense as to why they believe they are right..they simply take it somewhere else..and the person mentioned is a prime example.

To be fair, you can't leave out the occasional member who would start a thread certain to get an argument going, but would sit back and watch without contributing anything further.

But, if you let the person try to start something, and just don't take the bait--the argument is over pretty quickly.

I guess we could find that ?? (preacher?) that 'toes researched and shut down. He was pretty outrageous.
...and then, there was the crazy woman who thought everyone was lusting over her.....and the folks who posted while under the influence.
...at least I HOPE we can blame the alcohol.
