I went to two stores I go to all the time. First was my local liquor store. Got my bottle of vodka. Went to the counter paid, and the clerk asked me if I needed a bag, In the past they had ALWAYS put my purchase in a paper bag. I looked down on the counter saw that they had a new style paper bag. The clerk saw me looking at them and told me 'its 10 cents a bag now.
Next at the Auto Supply store I picked up 4 quorts of mortor oil. Kind of hard for me to handle this load to the front check-out from a stroke a few years ago that won't let me get a tight grip on things with my left hand. At the counter I paid, the clerk pushed the four containers towards me. Surprised, I asked for a bag Please. He quickly told me they stoppld using bags at all locations.
Thanks to Dallas Councilman Dwaine Caraway for helping us out so much.

..and Braum's is charging for a PAPER bag...a paper bag that is reusable. At least at our house the Braum's bags are used several times.
