Cowboys playoff win...

Postby crocmommy » Mon Jan 05, 2015 9:55 am

Like Romo said, they will have to play better next week....but they found a way to win. Prior years teams would have found a way to lose. The game kept me on the edge of my couch, but they won. No way they're going to dominate every week.

I had faith that they would pull it off and they did! Go Cowboys!

I have to admit that I was doubting them all the way into the third quarter. It just didn't appear that Tony Romo had enough time to make good decisions about throwing the ball and kept getting sacked But they stayed with it and pulled it off.

Although I got a bad feeling (like every other Cowboys fan) when they went down 14-0, there were two things that assured me that the Cowboys would stay in it. The first was when Williams scored the long TD to make it 14-7. The second was when, leading 17-7, the Lions opened the second half by immediately throwing an interception. Although the Cowboys didn't do anything with the opportunity, it suggested to me that the Lions were not capable of putting the Cowboys away. The Cowboys just seemed to play "downhill" against Detroit the rest of the way.

I hope they surprise us against the Packers. The Packers don't turn the ball over like that.

They don't slow down the run game like that, either.

I can't get a feel for this game. I initially thought GB 37 Dal 31, but then remembered that the Cowboys were up big last year a blew it. This is a much different team, both sides of the sideline.

Parnell worries me as does our DBs trying to bring down Lacy. Should be a great game!

I'm so sick of hearing about which penalties were and were not called last week. Does this happen with every playoff game or just ours?

This happened because the cry-baby Loser Lions leaked the information received from the NFL. Teams routinely send 10-12 plays for the NFL to review, but the teams rarely release the results.
