If ethanol, wind, solar, and unicorn dropping are not economic at 100 plus barrel of oil prices, what happens at 40 dollars a barrel ?

The stupid use of alt energy sources in the problem. It can be cheaper to have a windmill ( or small solar/battery combo) in the middle of nowhere than it is to run power lines. I haven't seen the numbers recently comparing costs on sugar vs corn ethanol, still certain ethanol s we know it is a losing proposition here for the taxpayers.
Of course our friendly lobbyist are back helping write legislation in DC and Austin.
