Now Kolaches are going to be too expensive. That's what happened with cupcakes.

First thought "Houston?" but remembered that I've stopped in Schulenberg for them since all the construction on I 35 drives me crazy getting off and on again. The bakery there is wonderful. My husband always gets a couple cream cheese kolaches from my stop there. I love that bakery...the lunches are great but they are usually sold out of the special if you get there after 1 pm. The high school kids also eat lunch there and it's lively and fun. The kids are polite and respectful. I really do like Schulenberg. The smoke house is also there and they have the best onion rings, hamburgers on homemade buns. They do have a buffet with German food, but the hamburgers are so good, I choose them every time.
