My BIL, Vietnam vet, sent me that one a few weeks ago. Watching people and innocent animals get killed just isn't my idea of entertainment. I realize they are the enemy but the thing sickened me. I didn't make it all the way through.

I was noticing how hard they were trying to avoid the donkeys and animals.

But for me..this is a beautiful thing.

Exploding ISIS members!

yeah , looked to me that they were trying to avoid the animals . Course they went after anything on the ground that even moved . That one wounded guy that moved got a double dose .

That's what my sister and I decided too.

Yes, it looked like they were trying to avoid the animals but hit a couple anyway.

So, how can the drone operator tell the difference between an ISIS fighter & some poor schlub in the wrong place at the wrong time.
A bad peace inevitably leads to a worse war.

The poor schlubs have long since fled, joined the club, or had their heads removed.

Many Americans wonder why the US military has such a dismal record of failure in its wars in Moslem territories. Do we not have the most modern forces in the world? How can a force armed with fighter-bombers, B1s, night-vision goggles, helicopter gunships, heavy armor, and advanced remotely-piloted vehicles lose routinely to lightly-armed goatherders?
Our “leaders” need to learn to know when they are being gulled, to distinguish fact from twaddle. They cannot, and neither can the public. There will be a price.

seems to me that the USA has the ability to easily defeat all enemies , at least in the middle east and in these current wars . USA would simply 'use' the weapons that you mention Plano . I mean , the USA has won earlier wars , see Germany and Japan . See Dresden , Hiroshima and Nagasaki to see how the USA won ww2 . For a more current example see what 'CIC' ghw bush did in 1992 on saddams retreating army on the 'Highway of Death' in 1992 [think it was 92 ] . The problem with these last 6 years of war is 'CIC' mrobama .

Seems to me that you didn't "win" a war if the minute you withdraw, it all falls apart. If you have to stay there forever and occupy the place you haven't won anything. We fought the Taliban for 13 years and never could defeat them. Now, we have to pay to keep troops there or they will take over as soon as we leave.

They were phony balony wars. A real war is against another govt., not tactics, and has to be declared by the Congress.

all I know is that there is war and lots of loss of life in the middle east , the 'Entire' middle east and they all came about in the last 6 years . Course some say that the correct groups and people are the ones doing the dying . My only concern is death from possible attacks in the USA and mostly I am only concerned about that happening in the future as my Grandkids and the next generation grows up .

To believe the countries in the Mideast are some kind of a threat to us you have to believer either:
1. There are no oceans.
2. We have no Navy.
or both.

we will see Plano !! Besides actual physical attack by isis I don't like seeing where the western world and the USA is heading . Mostly my concern is about giving up freedom in exchange for security . Its my opinion that an actual attack on or in the USA is not likely to affect most Americans in a physical way at least in my lifetime .

Well Ralph you may be very, very wrong. Peaceprize man is aiming to involve us in a full scale war with Russia over the Ukraine. Probably before the end of the year. That concerns me a whole lot more than some camel hummpers swimming the ocean and climbing up the beach with a knife between their teeth.

yikes , more things to worry about Plano . 'wesley clark' was just on telly talking about the Ukraine but I didn't pay any attention except I think I heard him say that Europe is already at war . Your scenario might be correct . As far as the camel humpers , we already have them and some of them live in Minnesota when they aren't flying to the Mideast to fight for 'isis' .
