Hey, Kids! What lives 2000 feet underwater and eats sharks?

Postby FlashM » Mon Jun 09, 2014 7:28 pm

It you answered "A Big Old Great White shark-eater", you're right, but WHAT eats 9 foot long great whites?!! :o

"Gizmodo’s James Baker highlights Smithsonian‘s story of a tagged nine-foot (2.7m) great white shark whose electronic tag washed up on the beach. When scientists checked the data, they discovered a terrifying sequence of events: the tag had been dragged 1,900 feet (580m) below the surface, then eaten—achieving a 78°F temperature, 32°F higher than a great white shark’s normal body temperature. So this raises a reasonable question: what could possibly eat a nine-foot great white shark?"

It's a great argument for the existence of the Megalodon Shark.
Tea + Water = Tea
Tea + Water + Sweetener = Sweet Tea
Any other designation is redUNdant

Megalodon Shark Sightings

Cryptid.Hubpages.com

Reported Megalodon shark sightings have some people wondering if the most formidable predator the ocean has ever seen might still be alive today, even though science and common sense tell us it's impossible.

At maximum lengths of up to 60 feet, Megalodon was the largest shark that ever lived and the apex predator of its day. This terrifying monster lived at a time when the ocean was a very different place, and it went extinct long ago.

Why, then, are there reports of massive sharks thirty feet long or more from around the world? Is it possible mainstream science has it wrong, and the Megalodon shark is still out there somewhere?

In this article we'll take a look at some compelling evidence and stories that suggest Megalodon is still with us. In the end, it's up to you to decide: Is the Megalodon Shark still alive?

If it's mean enough to drag a 9 ft Great White 1900 feet under and then eat it. Leave it alone.
