I don't know. I don't live in those countries and speak their language. But, nothing happens in politics without political pressure. And to criminalize opinion is a very extreme action. It would have taken some serious pressure.

Look at the myriad of books written about the Holocaust and try to find one that is based on examination of facts or documentation, the Germans were fanatic about documenting everything you know, that concludes that the Germans killed 6 million Jews.
