One good thing about daylight savings time

Dan Flynn of Tyler proposed it in the Texas legislature. I think he ha a lot of support (or maybe it's wishful thinking on my part).

Nixon put us on year long DST back in the 1970's. I think it was 1973.
He pulled it down because of the public outrage. In the Winter people were dropping their kids off at school when it was pitch dark.

I remember that. I maintain it was Nixon's greatest accomplishment.
