Isn't it kind of expensive though?

Have you seen that pizza restaurant commercial that brags about the pizza with three and a half feet of bacon. The thing looks nasty.............and yummy! :D

My wife won't allow bacon to be cooked in the house. Makes her nauseated. So, I bake 2 cookie tins every few months on the back porch BBQ. Place them between sheets of paper towels and let them sit awhile to soak up the grease. Then put them in a plastic bag in the freezer. I just nuke them about a minute when I want bacon for breakfast. No muss no fuss and smell is minimal.

My dad used to store 'em in a jar in the fridge but he didn't cook nearly that much at a time.

I'm sure your wife appreciates your thoughtfulness. That's how I am about the smell of onions or garlic cooking.

The only thing I won't allow in my house is snakes......anything else is good to go.

I only use microwave bacon. I can't stand looking at the bacon grease. But I do like bacon, just hate cooking it.
