“My son has been humiliated and he’s frightened to go to school and he feels sorry has some esteem issues. I just don’t think that’s right,” Hagadorn said.

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Some Portland mothers said they're horrified about the punishments their children are receiving for bad behavior at Caesar Chavez Elementary School. They believe the punishments their kids are receiving don't fit the crimes.

And then we have today's news story that kids who do chores at home have greater independence, empathy, responsibility, etc. Sounds like the teacher could be on a better track than the parents.

I honestly wonder why people have children if they aren't willing to parent them. Is it just to prove that they can? Sheeeeeeeeeeesssssssssshhhhhhhh.
