steve, can you make the links pop up in a new window instead of taking you away from the current page?
what does everyone else prefer?

Re: board suggestion
As long as there is no Bubba the dickhead from Burleson here, I am fine with anything the board does.

I never noticed that..(the pop up window issue..not the absence of the dickhead)

Re: board suggestion
i visit other boards for other interests..... most allow links to pop out to a new browser or tab..... it is a board setting that can be changed for preference.
i am not lobbying hard for it if everyone likes it this way. i can deal with it. i was doing discussion boards before they were cool.
that is why i called it a suggestion and didnt demand the old guy to change it..... you know, the dimocrat way

Re: board suggestion
I guess that I just have no preference , maybe I notice no difference if the link works and material pops up that I can peruse .

Re: board suggestion
I participate on another board hosted by phpbb.
It has a feature that when you mouse over the title of a thread, you can see the first few sentences of the post. It makes it handy to see a preview and know if you are interested in that post or not.
I figure that feature costs more $$--it is OK if we don't have it.
