I was thinking of the one that's near downtown Dallas that's so great. Is that Turner? I see this one seems to be in Farmer's Branch.

We had one of those everything you could ever need hardware places in Austin. I noticed, the last time I was in there a few years ago, that it no longer has everything and has lost its charm.

I think the Elliot's that was close to downtown is now a Kroger's. Elliot's there closed several years ago.

Turner's modeled itself after Elliotts......and does a good job.

Elliotts, near downtown, closed. I THINK they opened a location in Richardson or Plano, but I don't think it is doing as well as the original did.

When the Elliots on Maple closed they reopened on Denton Drive. If you live in Richardson, that's close to downtown. According to their website, they also have a store in Mesquite and just opened a store in Casa Linda.
