When Bush left, his approval rating was the lowest since Nixon's when he was forced to resign.

ralph wrote:well , I have no use for any 'bush' but GWB was not bad except for one big issue and that's an issue I take personally but he wasn't a bad president on most issues and fronts . Economy was fine for people that used their brains , wars were being won no matter if you agreed with the reason for the war or not . USA was still respected and feared because 'gwb' would take enemies 'dead or alive' . Israel knew who its friend was and so did England .

Country was functioning , no more '911s' , so called assault weapons were cool except for a few states . Like I say , I don't like the 'booshes' but the country was fine no matter what the crybabies were crying about in polling surveys .

What he was doing was implementing the Wolfowitz Doctrine, invading and overthrowing the govt. of 7 countries in 5 years. "Cleaning up old Soviet regimes". We know that thanks to Wesley Clark. While we "won" the war in Iraq, a 3rd world country with no navy and no air force, Bush made a huge mistake disbanding the Iraq army which regrouped and which formed Al-Quida in Iraq which became the basis of ISIS which now threatens the entire Mideast.
