Well well, now it seems the original Police statements were a little self serving, looking more like a planned ambush, which might be OK under the circumstances. Or maybe not.

So one of the Bikers arrested in Waco last Sunday is a retired San Antonio Police Detective, and based upon his photo a person "of Color".

The real story behind this deadly goat rodeo would be very interesting.

One of nine bikers killed at a shootout outside a Texas restaurant was a Vietnam veteran and Purple Heart recipient whose family members dispute police claims he was in a criminal group.

An Associated Press review of Texas court records and a database maintained by the state department of public safety turned up no criminal history in Texas for Jesus Delgado Rodriguez, 65, of New Braunfels. And his son Vincent Ramirez told the San Antonio Express-News that he was not violent.

"Honestly, officer, I didn't know any of those guys had guns. Or clubs. Or chains. Or knives."

I predict the initial Official Story turns out to be BS.

So out of 170 odd Bikers arrested, around 15 have Criminal Records; or so the AP says.

my experience with clubs is that most are just regular guys , club members perhaps but all they do is ride bikes , have families and work for a living . Mostly they are in the club for friendship , drinking , women and general messing around . Just my observations and I've known all sorts of motorcyclists for close to 55 years .

That wasn't actually "news". It was a lawyer's press release that ended up on a website.

Here's a real story:

Bikers’ attorneys battle over fake litigation waiver rumors

A Houston attorney’s media release alleging that jailed bikers were being forced to waive their rights to sue the city and county is false, but the controversy it created has that lawyer squaring off with a Waco attorney over the rumors.
