They were rightfully thought of as freaks.

This guy's now a hero..and he hasn't even had the operation.

I don't think we've survived well at all, and it's difficult to know where this will take us in another 20 years..but it won't be an improvement.

Years ago this would have turned my stomach.
We live in an age of lunacy now, and this is hardly worth noticing.
I have nothing against Jenner and wish him a good life.

I'm going to get sick of hearing about this very soon. And it will be all over the place so not sure how much of it I can avoid.

I beat you to the punch, after the news last night the news this morning, not to mention Good Morning America, I am already sick of its coverage. I wish him/her well, but do most Americans really give a rats a$$ about this, not me.

A hero to the ever expanding left..including millenials, the media, Democrats in general, Hollyweird, people that own Priuses, Fedora wearers, Smart car drivers, pony tailed men, "spiritual" people, anyone from Vermont, Labradoodle owners and Saab drivers..to name a few.

I will have you know that I wear a Fedora from time to time, a Stetson Open Road, from the 50s. When America was great.

I understand, RaisinCain......I lived through 4- 5- 6 yr olds during the Bill Clinton scandal. It surprised me when the newscasters mentioned oral sex so much and infuriated me when the 5 and 6 yr. old asked what it was. I've held it against Bill Clinton to this day! You can't protect your children and that's really sad.

I don't want to hook up with him, but he makes a pretty attractive human.

Grouchy, with that much airbrushing and makeup, you could look like a pretty woman too. He needs to show everyone his hands too. THAT would be realistic.

So much courage. So much bravery.

Somebody should nominate him for the Medal of Honor.

Obama's already awarded one fake CMOH. I'm sure he wouldn't mind another.

So when he has the package cut off, will there be a market for this kind of thing(s)? I mean this is a gold-medal unit and a once in a lifetime opportunity for the guy-trapped-in-a-girls-body types out there.

I'm more incensed about the "spouse" thing in California. I'm a WIFE and proud to be one of 50+ years! I have a husband, that to me is more important than a "spouse" that could be either gender.

One reason it bothers me, just like the gay marriage thing, is that it brings a level of sexuality to pop culture that many of us aren't yet ready to discuss with our children due to their ages. Much (most) of the time the gay\transgender message is built around sex and\or sexual identity, the publicity of these issues is inescapable and forces the discussion before the child is ready to hear of such issue. My kids are 11 & 12 and I don't feel the need to encroach on their childhood innocence with such issues. There will be a day, but not yet.
