He sounds distinctly different from the Gaystapo movement; and I wish him happiness.

I appreciate your comments, sir.

He's never been an activist but the house purchasing and the complications that have gone on with that, because they aren't legally married, have had him rethinking his non activist stance.

I'm so proud of my brother. He's a successful businessman and a truly decent and honorable man. Plus he has the aforementioned sense of humor. He and I have great fun playing off each other. He loves his family and does more than his share to contribute to my Mom's health, happiness, and support. One of the reasons he and his partner are choosing the Austin area as their winter home is so they can both be closer to Mom and more help to her. His partner is one of the dearest men ever born. His addition to our family has been such a blessing.

Just my opinion, but I think you do him a great injustice by lumping him in with someone who is mutilating themself.

Most "transgendered" feel much worse after changing their bodies, and a very high percentage end up killing themselves.

Jenner is not normal. Whatever is missing from his life, he's not going to find it in a tube or mascara or by changing his name. People who dress up to look like/be like the opposite sex because they "feel" that's who they really are are not going to solve their issue - whatever it may be - by that charade.

As I've said for a very long time, we live in a "Tell All" world anymore. Days of old, people with such predilections would have kept it to themselves as because they knew it was not normal. Family members would have referred to that person as their eccentric uncle or the confirmed bachelor or something discreet.

It's a different world out there and it's getting scary what some otherwise clear-thinking people are being led to believe is normal, right, and holy.

Dennis Rodman Would Love To Take Caitlyn Jenner On A Date

That would be reason enough for Jenner to reverse his procedure.

Was getting ready for work this morning and thought to myself, why would any guy willingly want to go through all this every morning? Guys just have to shower, shave and get dressed, pretty much. That also got me to thinking that he has waited so long he's skipped out on most of the hard parts of being a woman, the monthly cycle, childbirth, the responsibilties of being a mother, etc. Now I really have a problem with him more than I did before that I've thought about this angle on it. Being a woman is more than putting on nail polish, makeup and a dress, that's for sure. And I never even do nail polish...no time for that kind of stuff.

I'm not a John Stewart fan but he hit the nail on the head with this:
Caitlyn, when you were a man we could talk about your athleticism, your business accumen, but now you're a woman and your looks are the only thing we care about. ... As a woman, Jenner can now look forward to her physical appearance, not her talents or mind, being the object of daily scrutiny. Should she ever need to work, she can look forward to earning roughly 77% of what a man makes. Should she ever face physical or sexual violence, she, not her attacker, will be treated with suspicion. As a woman, Jenner will also have to get used to hearing not just new pronouns but other fun words like "shrill," "nagging," "bossy" and "emotional." And then, of course, there's the catcalling, which a "beautiful" woman like Jenner can now expect daily.

I LOVE IT!!!!!!

Yeah, before he was a world renowned athlete.

Now, he's just an ugly fat chick.

I'm not a John Stewart fan either. He didn't think this through very well.

Two things:

A Glamour Shots photoshoot by Annie Liebowitz might have something to do with her being judged by her physical appearance.

Should she ever face physical or sexual violence, her attacker will be presumed guilty until proven innocent. As a transgendered celebrity, she will be treated as a victim on at least two levels.

Third thing:

"Should she ever need to work, she can look forward to earning roughly 77% of what a man makes."

That would certainly be true if she ever works for Hillary Clinton, since she is not related. It would not be true where I work.
