I could use my wonderful farrier as another example. He is originally from Mexico. Freddie embraces the US as his country while being proud of being of his Mexican heritage. He is yet another hard working family man who appreciates all the benefits he derives from being an American citizen.

Some of you guys just go lumping people into big country of origin or racial baskets and saying they ALL are like this when that simply is not reality for any of we humans. That's one of the many things I despise about Rush.....and most other talk show hosts. He uses "liberals" as a cuss word then proceeds to say crap like "they all.............." No they ALL do not.

Sue, I agree that there is a lot of racism being spread about by the "New age" republicans. Unfortunately the party that used to strive for the high road has taken a 180° shift.

Interesting phrasing. Have you heard it or did you come up with it? That is exactly what I'm talking about. It further distances me from what used to be my party. The stone age, hard line, narrow minded, cold hearted, mentality is a HUGE turnoff for people like me...............and there are a lot of people like me.
