Movie Review - Edge of Tomorrow

Postby bodine » Mon Jun 16, 2014 10:58 am

My daughter took me to a movie for Father's Day; about the only thing I wanted to see was Edge of Tomorrow. I am normally not a big Tom Cruise fan, but I do like sci-fi and earth vs. alien plots.

The premise for the whole movie is about aliens who can control time; if you can accept that premise, then you will enjoy the movie. Lots of action, Cruise's character grows from a coward to an alien fighting warrior. Bill Paxton has a nice role as a platoon sargent.

Two thumbs up...

Saw this weekend before last and we loved it! It's just a good sci-fi thriller.

Do we need to leave our brains at home?
I feel like I'm parked diagonally in a parallel universe.
